Sadly, we received the news that our honorary member and loyal bass player Jan Bemelmans passed away recently. Jan has been a special member of QHarmony, because he has been playing since the foundation of QHarmony in 1997. Despite the fact that Jan played in a student orchestra as a senior, he got along with students and as a result, Jan has enjoyed making music at QHarmony for 20 years. For this many years of service and special role within the association, he was appointed honorary member on January 14, 2018. Unfortunately, Jan was no longer able to play in the last two years, but nevertheless we think back with pleasure on all the nice moments with Jan and we will miss him.
