Even though Sinterklaas will not arrive in the Netherlands for another month, the “pepernoten” have already been seen in supermarkets. QHarmony also sells pepernoten, made out of real bakery “speculaas”! 50% of the profit of the pepernoten and other treats will benefit QHarmony. On the 26th of September and the 8th of October QLite performed twice at the Eye Witness Evenings of the Infocentrum WO2 Nijmegen in the Lindenberg. On the 3rd of October QHarmony welcomed it’s new members, our members played “who is the mole” during the New Member Activity, to get to know the new members! Two ensembles of QLite performed in a cosy room in the Besiendershuis at the ‘Nijmeegse Kunstnacht’ on the 21st of September. A specificly built woodwind ensemble (bassclarinet, two clarinets, oboe and flute) kicked off. Later that night, a quartet of flutes came into action. All in all, it was a very succesful night!

On Monday 16th of September at the campus of Radboud University the highest point of the new Maria Montessoribuilding of the Faculty of Social Sciences was reached. QLite had the honours to perform at this event: a short but sweet performance!

In the past three weeks QHarmony and NSK TeQuila had open rehearsals. With these open rehearsals QHarmony acquired nine new members. We would like to extend a warm welcome to all of them at the most fun student orchestra of Nijmegen! We hope to have a fantastic year with all of them.  

Sunday April 14th was the day: the premier of the “Sprookjesbewaarder en het Verdwenen Verhaal”. The self written story was told by our own story teller Gerry van der Kamp and musically supported by the orchestra in a sold-out LUX Nijmegen. It was a beautiful afternoon.

On Saturday December 8th we gave a concert in the beautiful room of theater Hanzehof in Zutphen, together with Fanfare orchestra Psalm 150 from Dinxperlo.
