QHarmony; an orchestra that, according to our own conductor Jan, loves to play ‘loud and dirty’. The noise is not just hearable during the music making, during breaks and during the after rehearsal drinks there is also a lot of volume. In the middle of this cacophony of noise, we can find an oasis of calm, the silent power of the orchestra: the Archivists. Together we make sure that what the Music Committee comes up with, can also be played. We make sure that the sheetmusic is picked up from the library, get the scheetmusic on the music stands of our members and take the original sheetmusic back to the library unharmed. In addition to all this, we have digitalized the entire paper archive of QHarmony. You might not hear us, but without us, there would be very little to be heared at QHarmony…
