Henk-Jan has been with QHarmony for over a month now, but who is he? We asked Henk-Jan to introduce himself to you:
I am Henk-Jan Heijnen, 49 years old and living in Winterswijk. Here I live with my partner Machteld, my 16-year-old twins Anne and Wietse and my 4-year-old bonus daughter Mila.
In addition to my job as a conductor with 5 orchestras, I am a teacher for brass instruments and conductor/organizer of the Oost Gelders JeugdOrkest. (OGJO) For this project orchestra, we organize an annual concert that is prepared in 1 weekend for talented youth between 15 and 25 years old. This target group really appeals to me, which is why I am very excited that I can now get started with QHarmony!
We already had the first rehearsals together and despite the corona measures, I liked it a lot. Together with the board, we discussed great plans for the future that we will work out with the concert and music committee!
